I'm looking to purchase a light weight 28" bar for my 372XP and would like to try out these new Techlite bars. Do they make one with .050" guage? Anyone got a PN?
As far as I know, they are only made in 20 and 28" .058, so far. They are made in Norway, Oregon is not involved.

Part numbers are 544 90 25-72 for 20", and 544 90 25-92 for 28" (as with all bars & chain, 28" bars aren't really 28").....

i did a quick google search, and they make a 28 inch in 50 gauge. there price for one was 129.99 how well will a ported 372 pull a 28 inch bar in oak? just curious.

I am currently looking into theses bars as well brad and any info you find will be appreaciated...I run 20" .050 and 24" .050...if im gonna pay a high price i would atleast like to keep my chains the same. They look like good bars but we will have to see how they hold up.

Thanks to your info, I now have one on the way. They have one more in stock.

they also have very good prices on all husky parts. ie 281/288 exhuast outlets.

you order any other stuff with it?:D

PS its just too bad husky's 28 is 93 links vs stihl's 91 :bang::bang::bang::bang:

It's okay to have 3 sets of chains for 28" bars. I had 2 93, 2 92, and 2 91 dl chains hanging around for the carlton 28" husky mount and 28" stihl light bar. I run the 92 dl on the husky with the stihl bar. 92 dl will actually fit on a 660 with an 8 pin and have more adjustment.

I have used a 20" techlite a little bit. It feels real light on the front with it on a 372.

I bury my 372 with a 28" bar in stuff like that all the time no prob. I run .058 because .050 stretches too much.

Local shop has them in stock, 50 gauge is all they carry.

I feel like my stock, only muff modded, 372 with the 24" bar needs feathered just a tad in Big Oak when it's fully buried. I don't think I would like a 28" bar on it. I'm sure if it were ported it would be good to go though.

I too wish they would make it in 24".

Thanks for the part #'s Young and ST, I've ordered a 28" today so may have it tomorrow or Thurs.
I was suprised that the Husky importers here in Ireland had them in stock and it works out at the same price as you are getting Brad so I'm well pleased.
