The first link shows a picture of a laminated bar with a non replaceable tip, it says techlite right on it.........right? So not all techlite bars have a replacement tip. I have yet to see those bars, but the picture doesn't lie.

yea iam sure husky WILL come out with a 28in laminated bar WITHOUT a replacement tip and call it a techlite:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I too would like to see a 24" TechLite in .058...

28" is nice, but I just don't need it.

Speak for youself!

did you READ the LINK. that just a stock promo photo.

from the website

"The unique features specific for TechLite™ include a laminated guide bar with an aluminium centre and a sword constructed in layers of steel, aluminium and steel (S-A-S). A laminated guide bar is highly uncommon in sizes 20" and over. The TechLite™ bars come in lengths of 20" and 28" and fits all models over 60 cc. "

AGAIN ALL TECHLITE are LAMINATED with REPLACEMENT tips.

Hi, the first link is for a techlite bar that is NOT a replacement tip. Check out the picture. This new type was actually the point of my post. I was wondering if anyone has tried this type yet or not. Thanks.

What first link? :msp_confused:

...time will show what actually hits the market, as usual! :givebeer:

Yeah, Husqvarna has been strange about the release of the Techlite series in general over here in the US. Very few dealers even know they exist. I've never seen the non-replaceable version before.
-For what it's worth, I asked a Jonsered dealer about a Jonsered "lite" version and they said Tilton confirmed they do exist but are not importing them. Never seen any info to confirm.

I like the 28" Tech Lite as well, don't think they make a 32"...yet.

A 28" on that 390XP you built would be a blast!

Baileys had a 37" listed at one time but when I called and asked it was a mistake. 20" and 28" are the only sizes with .050" and .058". I was hoping for. 063" but no luck.

I hope these bars are good. I ordered a 20'' .050 the other day....cant believe I dropped that much on a 20'' bar !!!:dizzy:

I like 28" bars the most, not that much longer than a 24/25 and if your running big dawgs the 28 really feels like a 2 footer without the dawgs. I'm rather tall so slinging around a bit longer bar feels just right. Plus its nice with these light bars because you get the feel of a 24 overall anyways. I'm running the ES lights but trying to convince my buddy to put a 28 techlite on his 372. Which at the moment he's running a standard 24. Some people are just afraid to try something new I guess.
