Has anyone here with a Carlton stump grinder, had a leak on thier hydraulic pump? My new, (less than 50hr), 7015 has had a film of oil on the hydraulic pump since the day I got it. Now, it seems to be getting worse, as I am getting a constant drip off of the pump housing somewhere. All the hose fittings are tight. I am thinking it is coming out of one of the seams where the sections of the pump fit together. I guess I am going to have Carlton send one to me under warranty.
Anyone experienced something like this on a Carlton machine?

Not on mine.

Sorry to hear that about yours.

Carlton sent me a new pump and I had a friend help me put it on today. Only took about 1 hour. I ground about 110 stumps today, and the leak is gone. now I can get my grinder cleaned up and looking good again.
Shipped the old pump back to Carlton for warranty.
Jeff
