got a bran used walbro sdc-20 carb for my sp125.

all the internals looked great but i think the fuel pump diaphragm was stretched because if i crank the saw over a few times it pops then starts and runs just long enough for me to pull out the decomp valve then it stops but repeats its self the next time i try.

does this sound like carb needing a kit or could it be something else. :dizzy:

Yep, rebuild the carb, and you'll be in business. I had the same problem a few years ago with a few other saws, and after rebuilding the carb, they ran like new again.

It'll do you some good, besides, it eliminates one possible source of problems later on down the road.
