I didn't hit any metal today!

I finished off a log today. 13 more to go.

Today I learned that the Small Log Mill is great for small logs. But, when I try to get it to cut 18"+ I get uneven boards, thick and thin. Wedge shaped.

I will now stick to the C3 mill for the wide cuts and the SLM for 12" and under.

Perfect weather, dry and no mosquitos yet.

I hit metal today.

I cut through a bullet today. It was about 25' up in the tree. This log had more rot than I expected.

That bullet would look cool in a coffee table, and it looks like it's been there awhile.
