I have been working on a Husqvarna 272XP off and on for a few weeks. My wife and i got kind of snowed out for a week after a week long trip. I stared working on this saw and i noticed the spot for the decal on the starter cover did not match up with that of a 272XP but found out it was a cover off a 266. Well i was kind of wondering why it was changed. Did it fall and get broke or did the starter handle hit it. No real idea until i found a chunk of it stuck on the other side of the cyl. and realized what ever chipped the the flywheel broke the side cover also.
Now what to me that is kind of cool is what is scratched into the 266 side cover
It says (blm smoke jumper and either v95 or more likely #95)
Can any one tell me more about that?
