Either the accelerator pump is not working or the transfer ports are clogged and/or restricted.

Hell, you can buy a Torque wrench at Harbor Freight for 15 bucks.. Tell me you cannot afford that? That's what I thought the flywheel nut was loose. I don't have a torque wrench or power tools it's not in the budget. I just tightened it with the 13mm side of my scrench. Any advice on how to get it torqued right I thought sure I had snug?
Most people don't turn their torque wrench down either and that's the problem with calibrationAnd very likely a 1/4". I would guess some of the torque specs are inch pounds or the metric equivalent. Harbor Freight torque wrenches are actually pretty good when new, they just don't stay calibrated well.
Exactly. You have to relieve the spring pressure when not in use. Most people don't turn their torque wrench down either and that's the problem with calibration
Addendum, not sure if related, but I also had to order a new vent breather, at some point during my last attempt to use the saw it seems the breather cap came off, not sure how and I couldn't find the cap anywhere.Update, installed factory tuned carb (was only like $20 and I'm an impulse buyer). Engine sounds much better but still won't stay running. Will run for a second then die. I think it might not be getting enough fuel. When I put everything back together I noticed the alignment on my intake boot was a little off, but I still managed to get the inner ring in so I'm not sure it's related. I've heard aftermarket fuel lines have some quality issues but it looks okay to me and even began drawing fuel from a full tank when in place before I installed the carb. I really don't want to tear the whole saw down again to get to that intake boot unless I think it's the only problem. Any thoughts?
