I got a pioneer farmsaw just picked up

I got a pioneer farmsaw just picked up from a old guy it's in nice shape he said been a few years since he last used it I paid $20 came with bunch of chains and old bar oil. Gas I won't chance so got 40:1 gas oil mix can. Any feedback on these saws would help.

The recoil mechanism is one of soft spots on the Farmsaw, make certain the decompression valve and its actuator is working proper, otherwise the starter parts will pay the price.

If I cleaned up and got running good what you think I could get for it just saw and extra chains. I did check ebay and other sights and people asking between $350-$500.

For a Farmsaw I would not pay more than a couple hundred for one , they are at the bottom of the list for most Pioneer owner/users. One never knows what the unknowing people will pay for an item they know little about but it just takes their eye and they will pay much more than it`s actually worth.

Agree I just wished I never got rid of my ms260 pro.
