Don`t use the screwdriver inserted through the exhaust port for holding the crank when removing or torquing the flywheel nut or clutch R&R it damages the port roof and the piston, I have picked up several saws real cheap after those tricks failed with expensive damage. The rope on top of the piston is a better method than using any metal stops but for me a bump from a good impact gun work every time for removal, I don`t use the impact for final torque on installs. Stihl makes a specialty blocking tool made from a nylon like material, I use them most of the time or rope if the combustion chamber is too high for the nylon tool.
