job from hell chipping butcher pruned crab apple, nasty twisted growth, another guy looked at it and said it needed a larger chipper to do it cost for decent $$$, i think he couldnt be arsed getting his saw out.

me and my girl friend rocked up, i dragged it out and she stuffed it in, and it got destroyed, really make me think do i need to buy the 990.

Theres a set of blades for a 65 on trademe at the mo I think, check it out
We have bought 2 sets of blades from this supplier and found them as good as the bandit supplied knives. The supplier is a saw doctor and also runs a courier sharpening service. Prices are very sharp.

Hard face it with the welder and shape it on the grinder. Dont use too hard an electrode or the hard facing will chip and damage the knives. We have been using a tungsten compound and found it wears very well. Sourced the electrodes at the local Trade Zone outlet but other suppliers can find them.
