I just got a Dolmar 119 that was supposed to be in great shape.......NOT! Good looking saw, low compression. Piston is scored, cylinder not salvageable either. Bummer!

If I have to put a top end on it anyway, anybody know if I can make it bigger? The saw guys, the saw.

Upon further review, the cylinder can be saved but it has to go to U.S. Chrome for that to happen.

Paul I know I have a new piston for it! I will have to check on a cylinder. By the way it feels good to be back!!;)

Did you guys find the parts you needed to get this 119 running? I have a 119 and am always in search of parts. I just got a piston kit and gasket set from Hunter's Saw Deals in the Other Sponsors section of AS. The price was great and he (Jerod) was a great to do business with.

The piston for the 119 is still available as a spare part from Dolmar. Part number 119132100 suggested list is little over $100. At this time we still have 14 in stock and when we run out of these 14 there may be no more coming from the factory.
