This is 19 acres of woods, I have a long list of requirements. I would love some help from someone who has done this before. What it entails is providing the developer a scaled drawing on a site plan identifing 12" DBH trees and larger, pointing out what trees are to be removed so houses can be built, and setting up a zone for trees not to be harmed.

Ok. Wasn't sure there. I would contact your state division of forestry. Most states have a program where they will send out a forester to help you come up with a plan for your woods. You can probably get some sort of tax credit through them as well. If you're talking more about tree and habitat id, you can order books on those topics from several of the sponsors of AS.

Bearcreek is right. The local forestry commission will have a forester that can guide you on timber preservation. They will also perform tasks such as controlled burns to reduce understory.

I need help on bidding the job. There is over 1000 trees 6" DBH and larger if some one has done this before I need to be competitive on my pricing. Thanks for any help.
