Got this from a friend for fixing his poulan XXV.



Nice lookin saw, but the pullstart is on the wrong side, Is it for lefties?





Couldnt find one on acres site due to this having a sheetmetal air cleaner cover.

Any ideas?

I believe it to be a D-44

I agree w/ powelllake. Look at the bottom of the saw. There may be a model number on the cylinder right next to the oil tank.

Thank you guys, its even on mikes site, I must have been blinded by all the safety yellow paint.





Its really a shame that someone took the time to do all the nasty body work to the A/C cover, other than that the saw is in fairly good shape.

If you're referring to the slots in the air filter cover, I'm pretty sure that's original albeit somewhat dented. (And you can still see writing on yours.) I've got a spare cover and it looks just like that.

That cover is one of the better ones I've seen in a while. Most of them didn't hold up too well. I guess that's why the later Super 44's had a magnesium cover.
