It appears to be NOS for an A65 or A77. I do not have an IPL that shows either saw of that era, just after 1972.

I did watch a few youtube videos and they show an A65 with NO bolt holes going through the muffler which means that it must be bolted from the back. and due to the bottom bolt lug being on the muffle and this muffler does fit on an L65 I have here I would have to assume that an A65 or an A77 had different cylinders on them than they do after 1972.

The exhaust bolt holes are 1/2" wider than a 2100CD.

It would bolt onto a 65/77 chassis if the 65/77 cylinder exhaust bolts were about 3/4" wider.

Its "built like" a 65/77 muffler worn the bottom mounting hole being in the correct spot as if it was for a 65/77 crankcase saw. But the exhaust port is HUGE.

The bolts do NOT go through the muffler, there are nuts on the rear that you must use to tighten to the cylinder.

Thx guys..

Possibly 380 480 style

its not a 180 280 380 or 480. it has something to do with the 65/77 husqvarna

here is a pic i found for an A65; NO bolt holes.. must have nuts on the rear side.

Partner Cutoff saw
Gotta give me more than that. an IPL or something. I looked at all of Partners IPLs and they have some that look similar but not close.

this muffer has ZERO bolts that go through the face of the muffler.. the nuts must be tightened on studs that come out of the cylinder.

Found out what is for. Its from an A65 Husqvarna. ~1968 ish.

I also have a NOS P&C to go with it. Notice the sealant on the outside of cylinder transfer ports.. look at how perfect the casting marks were for the "MAHLE" and '48ZD3"

the A65 cylinder and B65 cylider were nothing like the 65s of today. the exhaust port was HUGE (makes 2100 exhaust port look small) but the transfer ports are VERY small!

opposite of what current saws use it appears to be. looks like Husqvarna found out that larger transfers and smaller exhaust ports were the way to go :)

Thx for your best guesses;)
