Idle ?

I have a P26 Poineer which i rebuilt completely. It will start with a prime and screem at full throttle, the problem is it will only start initially with a prime but once warmed-up will start with partial choke ( Opened slightly! ) but will not idle. I've added a new carb kit and have new fuel lines with no leaks visible. I'm at a loss. Ther were a few areas on the condensor wire and coil wire that were exposed but i've shrinked wrapped them!! Any ideas??

sounds like an air leak. did you change the crank seals? Or perhaps a bad impulse hose. Keep checking you'll find the problem. John

Ya! You were right, in my hast to crank it over i forgot to put in a gasket between the piston housing and the plastic piece the carb sits on.
