Ignition module - Stihl 038

Wondering if anyone has replaced the ignition module in a Stihl 038 themselves, or is it best to have a shop do the replacement?Thanks

it can be done by yourself, shouldnt be more than 30 mins at the most to actually do it. actually more like around 10 if you're really good at this sort of stuff.

just space the coil from the magneto with a very thin piece of cardboard (like the stihl service tags ends!), and use Loctite 242 or 241 on the screws.
