I have a fast growing tree service in central ILL and im not ready to buy a second truck. I would like to know if there is anywhere that rents forestry trucks by the month.

Seems like a stupid idea to me if you're really that busy. You can get a decent late 90's early 00 FP for about 15K. Or you could throw away 3-400 a day for a month and rent one lol..

So you don't understand the question lol

Two thirds of my business right now is a city contract that takes up to 60 days to get paid. I have three employees all capable of working a bucket and only one bucket truck to do residential. At this time I'm turning small residential jobs away because I am booked for the next four weeks. In 60 days I can pay cash for a bucket truck at $15,000 But right now if I can rent one for a month for 1500 I can stay caught up. I could borrow against my bucket truck and grapple truck but if business slows down in a month then I'm stuck with the payment.
So I'll ask my question again do you know where I can RENT a forestry truck?

HAHAHAAAH!!! I dont understand the question. Here are a few things you dont understand.

1. Business 101.

2. Renting bucket trucks for $1500 a month doesn't exist. As I said before try 350-400 A DAY.

3. Don't take a chitty city ROW contract or whatever it is when you have to turn away your bread and butter customers in the prime of the season.

4. If you are so "fast growing" (which it sounds like you are not, you just happen to be temporarily busy, there is a difference) this early on in the season, being booked four weeks out, you needn't worry about affording an additional 15K purchase broken down into a four or five year payment. Unless of course you are just full of ****.

But yeah, ask again and again where you can rent an FP for 1500 a month LOL, I assume you are going to get a lot of people chiming in that "don't understand the question"......

Thanks for being an ass but I just got off the phone with a company near Chicago and i'm picking up a 2000 GMC C7500 55' WH Forestry truck. $2100 for 30 days
Your correct responds should have been "No, I don't know, but if I hear of any I will leave a productive thread."

Good luck with that.

I agree with Peoria Tree, renting a bucket truck is always a better option when you are not sure of the business in coming months. You can check out the Utility Fleet Sales website at Buy New/Used Bucket Trucks for Sale, Bucket Truck, Boom Truck & Digger Derrick for your all bucket truck rental requirement for a month.

LOL< with all those links, and the fact that this is your first post, I'd say youre advertising which is in direct violation of the forum rules. SO BEAT IT.

Wow whats with the attitude man?

I remember looking to rent a bucket truck several years ago, for a true forestry body truck with overcenter boom was more than 600 $ per day

if you really got that truck for 2100 $ per month thats a REAL GOOD DEAL

Well, you know what they say, "if it's too good to be true, it usually is"...
