I bought 2 of the cheap ms390 cylinder kits a while back from HL. The barb from the cylinder that hooks up the impulse line fails a pressure test. It leaks from the base of the brass fitting. Anybody know how that fitting is installed? I’m going to try to remove it and epoxy it back in.

It was pressed in crooked in looks like. I tried tapping in further and all it did was squish the fitting, still leaked. I’ll try pulling it out and putting a new one in. I have the red Stihl gasket stuff, figure that should probably work to seal it?

I know this is an old thread but I'm having the same problem with the impulse line fitting leaking on a cheap cylinder kit for a MS290. I tried JB weld which helped but still did not pass the pressure test. Jackjcc, how did you make out fixing the problem. Appreciate any help!
