Shows what one individual can do. Mayor says let's start a movement, all due to the Ninja pruner. Awesome work!

Yes a local arborists' assn. can band together and sponsor workdays, working on a landmark public tree. It's gotten great publicity in other places, bringing more good work for all.

Keep Pushin', Jack! Hope to see you in Pittsburgh this August at ISA.

Cool deal Jack, hopefuly one of these days I will get the chance to shake your hand and buy ya a beer. :blob2:

new Report

Well, that aticle got about 1/2 doz responses. 2 from the Mayor, and a some potential clients who, I think, assume I'm the Nija Pruner and will come in the night and do it for nothing. Na, some nice folks.

And, ... a call from a local TV producer of a horticulture show who wants to give me a half hour. He said anything goes. Well I talked to some of the city officials and they agreed with my idea to kick the butt of public awareness.

I'm going to show shots of some of the worst kept city trees and the properties behind them. You see, here in Reading the city trees are planted by the city and the property owners are responsible for their health and care.

I'm thinking to give the 'golden stump award' to some of them.

Wait until they see my video tape of Elvis limb walking. :blob2:

Later,
Jack

The Reading Eagle News Paper only holds the page for that days news. Anyone going to that link after would not see the article. So to not create confusion I removed it.
