Yeah, criminals these days are REAL skinny from all the Meth.:dizzy:

I reckon criminals also fear the viscious wildlife that inhabit larger trees as well. There's nothing like a good 40lb "Guard Squirrel" in the White Oak out front for home security.

And we PAY for this kind of study?
LOL!! No wonder we are going broke.

Stay safe!

Makes more sense than other things that tax payers have paid for (Iraq).

Gotta problem with that statement, your in Canada, your taxes dont pay for the war in Iraqastan, my friends blood has

When your Country is attacked by those who are blind with hate, for no good reason, I'm sure it will make sense then.

That story makes no sense. Seems like a 4th grader wrote it. Made it up too.

I think I will put a tree in the back of my truck to scare off thieves :monkey:.

Memphis tree trimmer arrested after charging $9,500 to trim two trees

A tree trimmer who charged an elderly woman in East Memphis $9,500 to trim two trees landed in Shelby County Jail on Wednesday.
Memphis police charged Donald Hawkins, 54, with theft. Hawkins was held on $20,000 bond.
On Oct. 25, Hawkins went door-to-door soliciting tree work and convinced an 80-year-old woman living in the 3100 block of Lygon, near Riverdale and Knight Arnold roads, to allow him to trim two trees, according to a court affidavit.
He initially charged her $3,050 for the work and cashed her check. He returned that day and charged her $5,950 more for hauling the debris away. The following day, he came back and told her she owed $500 more, bringing the total she paid to $9,500.
A reputable tree service told investigators with the Economic Crimes Bureau they would have charged $550 for the work, according to the court document.

They must have been small trees to make it a crime
