How many here earn their primary income by using a chainsaw?:chainsaw:

For starters, I do not. Now for the rest of ya....sound off! :blob2:

I don't, volunteer forestry management, helping the neighbors and friends, firewood for personal use and those that can't do it themselves (elderly) and the pure pleasure of it.

I fly air ambulance for a living... I've really only mucked around with the saws for 2 -3 years, and it came about because the wife and I bought a house in the mountains and burn primarily wood for heat. We mill some lumber, build some furniture, cut firewood, and use them as a good excuse to get out into the woods and enjoy the outdoors.

I've also had a pretty fun time just goofing around here on the site.

Earn income? Now there's a novel idea. I do however, spend a good chunk of mine using a chainsaw. Does that count?

I hear ya!

I used to make money with my saws back when I was in school and had time for such things. I kinda miss it, actually. For a time it was my sole source of income above and beyond student loan money. Now it is a struggle to find the time to get my saw purchases to pay for themselves, much less turn a profit. Oh well.

Earn? Nope... I give most of it way for free... and then there's my wood pile(S)and milling and....

Just knocked over three nasty trees for a tee-totaling neighbor today... So not even beer...

"How about a Fresca "...:jester:

My living is made by my saws and my efforts to get out of bed at 2:50 a.m. and drive two hours. Copenhagen, coffee and Monster Energy drinks help as well.

Normally start my saw at around 5:45-ish, after dodging log trucks and getting ready. I get up at 2:50, but stretch for about 20 minutes before I get dressed and leave.

some people may not think it but a bit of stretching can go a low way when you are swining a 660 sized saw all day, how long of a day u work out there
