Hello, im looking to buy a 125 sp/cp one of these days and i wonder what a good running one would go for, it doesent have to be pristine, a few dings only add to charachter.

I live in sweden so if you know what shipping would cost please do tell.

That sounds awfully low on the price for shipping. With insurance it is almost that much just for me in Oregon to ship it to the east coast much less Sweden.

The cost is just as I stated plain and simple. It has been a few weeks since I shipped to Sweden but here is a receipt for a 32lb box and the cost was $103.46 (insurance was $8.20 above that) I have removed the recipients info as it is irellevant. If you still question me then heck what more can I say

A 125/101B kartsaw sets the bar pretty high. I've never seen a running one go for cheaper than $900. I wouldn't sell one of mine for any less than $1k. I doubt you're going to be able to get a clean, good condition 125 delivered to you in Sweden for $450.

Neither did i, is there any record on the horsepower of mcculloch saws or is displacement all that matters in america

I was just asking if you know how high horspower they are, i have read that the 101b is around 12hp but what is a stock 125.

A good running SP125 is worth about $700 today. JJ is right about the 101b saw, $1000 and up. The stock SP125 is the slowest of all the 123cc McCulloch saws. The 101b is by far the fastest.

Lots of people over here selling screwed up saws, so be careful, spend the extra money, and get something good.

This hobby sure is getting very expensive now, i would prefer the 101b but i just dont have the coin to spend and i dont think i have any saws that would be interesting to trade with.

I guess i will have to stick with the D44 and the Jonsered XF for another year.

I got extra 101b's (I have 5 runners, lol) but I already have an XF. Find me a decent running Dolmar 166, Solo Twin or a Solo Super Rex, and we can talk. The 101b will crush any stock saw in existence.

I've seen some say (Gary-goo????) that a 797 was no faster than a 125.

Is that a regular 797 or a Super 797? lol....... Most think that the order for performance is as follows:

1. 797 with HL carb
2. 797 Super with SDC carb
3. CP125
4. Super Pro 125 with steel cylinder sleeve (has the adjustable H jet carb)
5. Super Pro 125C, chrome plated bore, fixed H jet carb

If you ever find an extra Jonsereds XF- let me know and I'll trade for one of my 101B kartsaws.

If a guy swaps out the fixed high-jet carb on the Chrome cylinder 125, those become a much better runner than the steel-sleeve saws.
