Apparently Great-Grampaw was cutting down an old dead oak out in his field a long time ago and stopped halfway through the cut! An old Homelite bar was stuck in the tree with a chain. Grampaw must'v got the saw stuck and unbolted the bar and gave up! Wish I could've got a picture of the tree before it was finished off. I have no idea where the saw is now. It's an 18" bar with "HOMELITE" across it. Dad and my Uncle were cutting the tree up, and I found it before they burnt the logs. I have it hanging out in the shed, looks pretty cool. I'm surprised I didn't find any other small engines and stuff, as his garage used to be packed full of tillers, mowers, saws back in the late 60's. I have no idea where all that stuff went.
