Why is there a european debt crisis? because a feller brings a 30kg $2000 tool to replace a a $20 half kg load of wedges.

Its pretty cool! Needs to be shown doing heavy work to show it can do something a stack of plastic wedges cant do. Good one the guy for doing it, but I think its got a long way to go!

and this one. Wow how disappointing... all that and he still rips the heart out.... Two words for ya....YOUR FIRED!!

Dang, they spend way to much time on one tree.
Heck who needs a chip or hinges? Just cut it an run like hell! LOL

Joking

So what happens the first time you leave to thin a strip of hinge wood and go to pressuring that dude up ? Yeah think ill pass!

I am pretty sure I could redneck reverse engineer that set up for about $25. BUT it would be a lot easier to just cut and drop and be on to the next tree.

we been using a stalpen tree jack for a while now works really well. have pushed over some pretty big trees with it. i carry a port a power with duck bills in my truck and use it like a wedge. got it for free tho.

Yeah...what is up with debarking the tree with the chainsaw while standing? There were areas that were shaved well above his head. What is the point???

i hate how those guys fell trees its like their making art work. i have no clue what their trying to achieve with all that fancy jazz. on large trees some of it does help but what their cutting down my dog could push it over.

thats way to much work it almost seems like they sorta ripped of the log pusher reg was using with the way it pulls itself into the log. i have no clue wich one was invited first just guessing.

but thats way to much work for dropping relatively small trunk diameter trees stick a few wedges in your pocket and forget that thing. i bet it took him like 30 min to carve out that tree like a pumpkin and then tote that makeshift hydraulic wedge around.

a drop like that should take like 5 minutes.

Thats a neat tool. has anyone in the USA used one like it?

on the second vid if you look at the flare of the tree it looks like they removed about 6'' of trunk dia you can see the buttress roots were cut into a good bit. that alot of time just to prep a felling

2nd video .... guy just sits there after the tree starts to fall. If something would of have tossed back he wouldn't of been able to get out of the way. Hope these guys don't think they are pro's cuz .... well .... they're NOT!!
