Found a birds nest inside; appears to have been made out of the bark of the tree :(

We just moved in. I'd never be this negligent...

Okay, here are two more pictures.

I'm not sure what the culprit is (I've never owned a Juniper), but I did find a large birds nest in the tree. Much of the bark from the tree was used to construct the now-abandoned abode

I want to know if this Juniper is dying, if it can be revived, and whether it'd be worth the time for it to fill in again. As I said previously, we just moved in several days ago, and I would have been on top of this had we been living here.
 
Guess I overreacted a bit, or am just very excited about the property, we have a koi pond, too :). Probably a combination of both.
