Badges For Sale!!!

Bumpitty bump bump bump. Just for anyone who hasn't seen it - the more interest I get, the larger order I can make and the cheaper they will be for everyone. To clarify in case you are too lazy to read the whole thread, these will be sold on a non-profit basis to AS members. The price I will pay is the price you will pay, plus the price of an envelope and stamp to wherever you live.

Cheers,

Patrick.

As a bump, the guy only has my work email and I've been off with a dose of syhpilis for over a week. Should be back at work by Wednesday.
Hopefully he will have replied by then - I am looking to have 100 made at cost price for AS people. If not I will ring him and ask him why he doesn't want any business. Anyone else wanting them, plese put your name and quantity down. The more the cheaper. Once I get a price and sample I will post and you can decide yay or nay.

I was thinking about a few, until you mentioned the disease. I'll still take two if you use protection. PS. Please don't lick the envelope.:greenchainsaw: Do you Paypal??

Rubber gloves and a condom per finger, all stamps would be licked by a Cuban virgin once she finishes rolling my cigars on her inner thigh - I like quality.
PS - don't worry about the Gonorrhea either, it's pretty much cleared up now.

Still another day to go I'm afraid - holidays have to be used up by the end of January.
On the upside, my genital herpes is clearing up nicely! :)

All part of the pitch, all part of the pitch. :D:jester:
Finally back to work and have had quotes for a run of 25, and a run of 50 - I've asked him for a price for 100, and also for a sample badge (which I'm sure will cost me dearly!), to make sure it looks good and like the old ones should.
The badges will be 1mm thick alloy as original, printed and then anodised as original, and pre-drilled so all you would need to do is pull out the pins holding the existing badge in, replace the badge, then push the pins back in.

Hopefully I'll have got rid of these damn genital warts by then as well!

Cheers,

Patrick.

I'm hoping they will. Price for a run of 25 is £6.00 = $7.08 per badge, The price for a run of 50 comes out at £3.50 = $4.96 per badge - significant savings for the larger run!, and whatever small amount the shipping (a stamp and an envelope!) may be, but that doesn't include the cost of having a sample made for approval.
However with a run of 100 I can split the sample cost so it shouldn't add more than $0.50 or so to each, I hope - and the savings from the larger run should cover that. So if you guesstimate on $3.50 - $5.00 per badge, delivered, I'd think you would be around the right ballpark.
I'll let you know what the guy says when he gets back to me!

Cheers,

Patrick.

Good work, keep us posted. Just found another Stihl that can use one.

I will indeed, as soon as I finish killing off these damn pubic lice with an ice pick and a lighter. :chainsaw:
I think at first he may have thought that I was after one free "sample" just for my own saw, but in my email today I listed some of the Stihl saw counts on here, and that I would be happy to pay the setup costs for a sample - he'll know I'm a serious customer, not after a freebie.
What doesn't go on here will go to Ebay, hopefully for a small profit - it certainly won't be the cost price paid by AS members, and there will be a small window of time (a few days) to get your cost price orders in on this forum - to make sure none of the existing Ebay sellers buy them all up to sell for their own gain. Reasonable restrictions will of course apply - if someone on here asks me for 40 of them, I'll expect a picture of 40 saws in need of badges just to weed out any in-between men!

Cheers,

Patrick.

A quick bump for anyone interested - hope the mods don't mind. The more people want them the cheaper they will be. Stick your name down if you want, even tentatively - I can order 100, or 200, whatever. 12-20 days delivery. If you want one, or ten, I don't mind - the bigger order the better and cheaper.

No problem, Supercabs.
Once I get a definite price for a 100 piece run I'll start a new thread so those who are interested can email me with orders. Looking good so far in terms of orders, I'm pretty sure it will be feasible. It all depends on the sample though - I, and I imagine most of you, won't take second best and I have told the guy they need to be as close to original as possible. Obviously I'm going to have to lay out a few hundred $ up front to have them made, but I'm pretty sure I can break even between here and Ebay.

Cheers,

Patrick.

PS - It'll have to be either Paypal (ideally, as it gives you a way to get your money back should something go wrong), a direct bank transfer, or cash by signed for delivery if you trust the postal service!

Having spoken with the bossman of the forum, these can only be sold through the Tradin' Post.
I'll let you know when they are available on this forum, and put them up for sale.
One dollar per badge will be added on as a donation to Cancer Research (a UK charity which oddly enough, researches into causes and cures for cancer!) - if you can afford a few dollars for a badge, you can afford an extra one (or more, maybe you have a 10-note left in your wallet?) to help out something that has affected most of us in one way or another.
It'll probably only end up being a few quid, but anything is better than nothing. I will post a picture of the cheque once all orders are taken.

Cheers

Patrick.

If I were the badge guy, and took this long to answer emails - I'd sack myself for gross misconduct. Get with the times, man, get with the times...
