Is this a good price on a Makita DCS510-18?

Should I pull the trigger or has anyone scene a better deal on the Makita or Dolmar 510??

Makita does not have a blue version of a Dolmar PS510. They probably are trying to sell you the older PS540 version which is out of production. Also that was approx the same price we sell PS510 here at our store for everyday.

A 20 year newer design...... I would have to say yes the PS510 is a better saw than the PS540

I paid $349 for my 5100s-18".I think that's a little high.
Just looked on ebay and there is a new in the box 510 sitting at $228 with 3 hours to go.

and go for the 5100s

Is that a good price for the Dolmar 510? Where did you get your 5100s? Also is $298 a good price for a Husky 350?

I just walked away with two 5100s for 375 out the door.. Maybe one of the sites sponsors will sell a slightly used demo saw. I imagine it will look like brand spankin new.

$349 is cheap for a PS-5100S!

Glad you found a local dealer that will sell you saws. For others that do not have a local dealer keep bugging your favorite saw shops to take on the Dolmar line!
