Is this bar still ok?

I think I may have just about everything laying around to build one.

this sounds familiar. I just built one and it fixed my worn-out bar.

Tried squeezing it with the vise but it just flexed and returned to original position.

Might need the BFH treatment.

With a welder, you could make one for next to nothing...

built this from what I had and used bearings. no welding needed.
