I was looking at the ISA online store list of brochures, because I thought about ordering some to distribute.

Do you have any favorite brochures?

Which ones do you feel would be easier for homeowners to understand?

Do any seem more relevant to the public.

Which have more eye appeal?

Thanks

I rely heavily on the Proper Mulching Tech. & the Preventing construction damage one.
Some of the others i just dont use like the benifits of trees for example seems like most of my customers already know what they get out of their trees
I like the concept of having this type of handout. In my opinion it is very important to have written documentation that verifys what I say to my clients. The handouts also do alot of the 'groundwork' for me- proper pruning pays etc etc.
I have produced many handouts of my own. One that I use all the time is one titled "Resources/ information" on this one I list the local offices of the Master Gardeners, web sites for Pine pitch canker, SOD sudden oak death, the contractor's lic. board/ Better Business BBB, the ISA and a few others. Very helpful esp. for new homeowners

Oh I forgot. The ISA produces many types of handouts, posters etc.
What really chaps my hide is the ISA poster series geared for displays titled "How to Kill A Tree"
This seems like the stupidest, most clueless, moronic title to me.
I just cant understand what the people were thinking when they came up with this title.
I think they should read up on Blair's Arborist Creed and get their brains in gear.

I feel that way about Oregon's new motto. Its something like:

"We love dreamers"

I don't even really know what that's supposed to mean, or why a replacement motto was needed.

You cna download and preview them for yourself, MD. I like Mature Tree Care the most for general info; lists removal last as an option, the reverse of what most "tree services" tell people.

Trees&Turf also gets handed out a lot, to persuade away from lawn expanison.

I'd buy a set and get the package price.
