Issue keeping Jonsered CS 2253 WH running while idle

I have an issue with my Jonsered CS 2253 WH (the equivalent to Husqvarna 550 XPG). If I leave it idling for ~30 seconds it dies on me. Afterwards I can only get it to start by giving it full throttle while pulling, so I guess it's flooded itself.

I have tried "resetting" the saw by making full throttle cuts in some massive logs for 3-5 minutes as stated in the manual. This does not seem to fix the issue.

The air filter has been cleaned. I have replaced the spark plug and the fuel filter too. None of this helped either.

Any ideas what to try next?

I am running it on fuel mixed in the ratio 40:1 - in case that matters.

Do you have access to dealer with software? You can see fuel ratios and error codes.

Sounds like the injection sensor is seeing the heavier mix, and sending more to compensate?
