Hey fella's, not dead just working, then Little League and then tee-ball.
Hope everyone is up to no good and buying lots of aftermarket stuff to make their saws rip a little better.
Still running the 460 I had in the video, last weekend I built a 660 - put ceramic bearings in it, had the cylinder milled with a pop-up on the piston. With the gasket I got my squish at .24. Widened and raised the exhaust, lowered and widened the intake, removed material from the bottom transfers and polished all the ports.
Gutted the baffle, and matched the exhaust to my cylinder, added a screened port on the side and then a ported Stihl faceplate.
Saw runs great. Plenty on torque and 13,800 (which I have found to be my fav. RPM) I then put a "Green Weanie" filter system on it - of course it has big dawgs on it too.
Used it all last week.
I'll see you around - Happy Sawing!

660

glad you're not dead slinger! Hey, how bout a video or a pic of that built 660? Sounds like she'll really run!:hmm3grin2orange: :biggrinbounce2: :chainsawguy:  :D ;)

Sorry fellas the videos will have to wait - I am spliting weight (log truck net) with four partners - taking time to make video while working would not be fair. Sometime when I am in a good spot with some decent wood I will bring the tri-pod and will see what I can do.
Right now, it is so steep my tri-pod would have to be about 1 foot on the front leg and 8 feet on the back two - it's pretty steep!
Be good!
