Those are some good finds. I had a Pioneer like that--very weird saws to work on. Does your have the original OMC primer carb or the HU retrofit?

"Cosmoline", by the way.

Don't let that 410 slip away. I believe that was one of the Solo-designed saws. Valuable on eBay. The C-series saws are physically impressive, however I've heard they weren't terrific. I had a non-running C-7. Easy to take apart.

I've only found two saws at yard sales, but they were an 032ave and a Homelite SXL-925 for $20. :)

The 410 and the C-9 are my Father-in-laws he says he wants us to sell them for him. I'm going to see if I can get them running. He lets his saws set for years at a time with fuel in them and then wonders why they won't run. I saw the specs. on collectors corners on the 410, that's a pretty good size saw and not that heavy.

Not sure on the Pioneer carb. I haven't taken time clean them at all. I got them both so cheap I'm ashamed to say what I paid for them.

Homelite C-9

Hi, I was just wondering how much you would take for that C-9??? It doesn't have to be running or anything, because I'll probably completely restore it from the inside out anyway with new bearings, rings, seals, gaskets, carb-rebuild, possibly whole new paint job, and a lot of other things... Well just let me know if you still have this saw and how much you would be willing to take for it??? Well let me know as soon as you can...
Thanks,
Greg

Either I had one too many beers or I really am seeing baby clothes!!! :Monkey:

Yeah, but look at the date of the original post.

I remember seeing the saws at that URL at that time.

It would be nice if the date of the thread starter were listed in the index of posts along with all the other information there.

Maybe grateful11 could get in there and modify the post to reflect the changes (or simply add the explanation that the link now contains megabytes of baby clothes, and will probably be something different at any given time).

I wondered when this was going to happen. That some stuff my wife sold on eBay. The clothes and stuff were linked to her eBay page.

Here's another thread where some thought it might be an XP1000.
Sorry about the confusion, but those pictures change from time to time as we run out of space.

I have a C-9 that needs a new home, I'll see if I can get some pictures of it. What's a C-9 worth, running or not?

C-9

Just wondering if you had any pics of that C-9 yet and if you've decided on how much you want for it or not??? Well get back with me as soon as you can...
Thanks,
Greg
