Japanese knot weed

Any one with experience killing Japanese knot weed? I plan on spraying it in the fall with Arsenal. From what I have read is to wait tell it flowers, spray it and then leave it tell it dies. Then cut the stakes down and burn them. And it may take a few years of this to get it.

Depends on what it is close to. If isolated, 2,4-D as that stuff has shown some glyphosate resistance.
