I've been given an older John Deere Brush cutter, model 350G. I have it running well now, just need to get a new cutter head or blade for it. It's currently setup with non-toothed saw chain flails. I'm just curious if anybody can give me any details on it; i.e. who made it for them, engine specs, head bolt size, etc. Any reccomendations on a good cutter head for cutting mainly multiflora rose?

Thanks.

Search threads containing 'Brushcutter' by 'Mag58' in the username field...you will find all the info you are looking for regarding cutting attachments. Your JD brushcutter was likely made by someone and marketed under the JD name. Take off the cutting head, measure the hole size (arbor) - then you can select the proper cutting blade for your conditions.
