I was given one of these a while back, in reasonably good physical condition with a very nice roller-tip bar. Not sure whether I want to keep it or get rid of it. I have looked at eBay and elsewhere and there don't seem to be any of these coming up as active or closed auctions, and it isn't much better if you look for the Remington version, either.

Were these saws super-rare, or is there just absolutely no interest in them?

Not super rare, I've seen quite a few.

Those era remmingtons just don't seem to get many people excited, but they are decent saws.

I don't know what your plans are for the saw but the John Deere ones are worth selling on Ebay because the JD collectors bid them up somewhat if they look nice. The rems always seem to go cheap.

Thanks, Scott. That's kinda what I figured - those JD collectors will buy anything JD...

Anyway, I really have no need for it so I put it up in the AS trading post section. If nothing comes of that, then it's off to eBay.
