Picked up a nice 820 off of ebay. It has what I would call a full wrap handle- attaches at 3 points. I'm not seeing how to install it without removing the chain brake handle all together. Any body have one like this that they can send me pics of or know how to install the handle ? All the other front handles I've seen only attach at 2 points.

Somewhere here on AS

there's link posted to a UK site that let's you download parts lists for Jreds (but not the older models--I've been to that site). Try searching AS for: Jonsered AND parts AND list. There might be a quicker way to search. If so, I'm sure that someone will post it. There's another site that has links to Jred parts lists. I can't remember the name, & I don't have it saved. I'll check later to see if I can find it. I found both sites by plugging in Jonsered parts, then going thru the list until I found a good site. Chain Saw Collectors Corner, CSCC, acresinternet.com, might have photos or illustrations that would help. There should be link here at AS.

Tried to find the site, but no luck. Maybe someone will recognize it. It gives a page where you choose between Husky or Jred. Once you've selected, you can choose between 2 sections-newer models, or slightly older models. It also mentions Stihl, but if you select Stihl you get a page that speaks against Stihl & their restrictive selling policies. Sound familiar to anyone? Sorry for rambling, but this is driving me crazy:dizzy:!

I got the handle installed-just had to take a little more apart than I would. Can't wait for the bar to get here!! I tried the acres site link and got a page can't be displayed. Can you give me the full http for it? Maybe it'll go that way.

CSCC has had problems the last few days.

I tried to use it yesterday & today to ID an old Jred (a 801 I'm pretty sure), but it won't/wouldn't load. There's a recent thread here at AS asking about CSCC, & I noticed that Mike Acres was recently on board; maybe he responded. When I put the West Coast handle back on my 670 I had to do something that I rarely do--ask my wife for help. She doesn't complain, but it sure hurts my pride  . Actually she's really fast at unkinking chains.

Thanks for the help guys. Found out if I put my glasses on I can see better and it's easier to figure out where all the screws are that need to be removed to get the handle installed  . So I'm ready for the bar and chain to get here now. Some body let me know if the acres site is ever enabled again.

He was saying that they are coming to fix it Tuesday, or at least he is hoping that they fix it by Tuesday.

The link page comes up but I still can't click on any of the saws that I have and get anything back-those links bring up another can't be displayed message
