Both of these saws came from a buddy of mine. He wants to sell them off and put the money towards another project. The Poulan starts and runs but does have scoring on the piston. It seems to be complete as I briefly clanked over it. The Jonsered is missing the clutch drum & bearing along with the clutch cover that I believe is on the Poulan. The Jonsered has a carbon mark on the piston but starts and runs. I did a quick, very quick look at the saws so please ask questions if you have any. The Poulan has the top covers I just forgot to take a picture of it. 75.00 each plus shipping.

You guys have part saws lying around? I really want one of these older Poulans but have no parts accumulated and know nothing about fixing/wrenching on saws?

I sure don't, but a lot if not most of the parts on these are still available thru poulan/husky, at very reasonable prices.

Thanks. Messaged the seller about an hour after he listed these saws but guess I'm too late. :(

Did a quick search on the 505/2083 here and it sounds great. Also read up on a replacement piston for the 505 and found you can use a Stihl 066 or something, can't remember already lol. Trying to find a nice, cheap HD 6421 or good PP is like finding a needle in a haystack. Before I found this site I was convinced a 5020AV was all I needed now I can't settle for anything less than 60cc.

Anyway, congrats on the 2083.
