Up for sale is a Jonsered 2094 I got from work last fall. The story I got is it came into the shop with a scored (looked like straight gassed) piston and the owner didn’t want to pay to fix it. My boss cleaned up the cylinder put a new piston in it, and pressure tested it prior to running it only to find out the plastic cylinder shim was cracked and leaking. He found out the shim was nla and decided the saw wasn’t worth the effort. I got it, made a new cylinder shim out of some thick gasket material which fixed the air leak and sold it to my brother. He ran it for 1-2 hours with it running rich before he got it tuned and ran it another 1-2 hours before shelving it until now. The pros: it has a near-new oem piston, a new oem throttle linkage, the desirable full wrap, and is ready to run. The cons: the wrap screws and a few others were replaced with Stihl hardware with the same threads by the p.o., the muffler bolts have different heads (again, same thread pattern), and a dog bolt got hit by a thrown chain at some point. I’d like to get $750 + shipping for it but I’m open to reasonable offers. If you want pictures of specific spots on it let me know and I’ll try to get them. P.S. The orange plastic grip inserts will be swapped out for the black ones prior to shipping.
