Jonsered 910E

I just found this saw today (laying in a barn)
Can anyone tell me anything about it ???
seems to have good compression..........sure it needs carb it etc.. worth saving
it says 910E on it

Sure it's worth saving. 87cc, made around 1980. Nice saw.

I think it may have been the biggest Jonsey, once they stopped making the 110cc models like mine.

John, didn't they make the 920 and the 928? I know I've seen the 920, we just had one in the shop a couple weeks back. What a monster.

I don't know about the 928, but the 910 to 930 saws were all 87cc models made until the mid '80s, I think. Someone who actually knows about Jonsereds can probably fill in.

My book shows 910D in 1982 (87cc), 920 starting 1983(89cc saw), 930S starting in 1988 was 87cc; then the 900 series apparently ended in 1990

John, maybe my book is wrong. It is a 93 Intertec Blue Book.
