Jonsered chainsaw model ???

I have a saw the number on it is 1983 0 05243. I can't find the compatible model while looking for parts. I need an oil tank cap and a chain tensioner. Replacement parts has some listed but I'm not sure that they are compatible

I accept that challenge. without a freaking pic.

My WAG is a 520. But would be much better saw if it was a 490. Heck maybe 630

Perhaps a 5XX…… a 490 or 630 would say so on tag

But I either way just looking at it blindfolded without pics!!

I'm sure that it is a 630, thinking it's manufactured in 1983. But can't find any description in listed model numbers with a similar manufacture date. I'm pretty sure I've had this saw since 86 or 87. And a lot of models are described as "super"

Definately a 630.....says so on the tag , and an early one at that, being made in 1983. Super does not mean much parts wise until you get into the Super II versions. Husky 162 parts are compatble with your particular saw. As well as Husky 61,66,268 and 272 parts,
