To break it in, run it like normal, taking special care to not rev the powerhead while not under load (in the cut).

As far as mods, the most common and simple is a muffler mod. Do a search on here for that, you'll find alot of reading. Beyond that there's the option of sending it to a professional saw builder for a complete build.

Take it easy for a few tanks. As mentioned above, don't over rev it outside of a cut.

After that, time to mod the muffler and let that baby breath - nice saw by the way...
