That is purely insane! Creative, Yes! This brings up an old analogy: When the Brain is Stupid, the Body Suffers! Where's OSHA when you need them? Just like when you need a Cop, there's none to be found.

Thats not much different than a SS. I would say it's slower actually because you have to wait and time it.

If he had a V shaped self centering hopper, it would A -OK in my book. Large rounds needing resplit might pose a challenge. I would not want a split to get turned sideways and jam up.

He handled the big piece 13 times until it's split! Seems like a lot of work to me. 1 time threw my hydraulic splitter and it's done. Falls on the table and gets pushed into the elevator and not touched again until fall.

As Rob said, I've seen a number of these over the years, and they are not made to take the pounding and something gives. Also, like a lot of processors, they are size specific. Straight easy splitting wood only. I'd love to see a Lickity Split splitter in full auto. They were way over engineered, and super cool splitters, made to take the pounding, Joe.

really?????

What oly? You dont need gubment tell you how to run equipment and babysit you either? Maybe everyone should be assigned an OSHA agent just to keep us from getting hurt.....I guess it would create more jobs.....but nothing would get done.....and would drive our county more in debt........win win.......
