Key question.

Hey guys, Before I go the trial and error route... I sheared the key on my Jonsered 590. The tapered shaft has one key slot. The flywheel has 2 slots about 90 degrees apart. Naturally I failed to note which slot the broken key fell out of. Any tips?

Use the keyway that puts the magnets of the flywheel straddling the coil pickup when the crank is at top dead centre. The other keyway may suit the flywheel to another app.
