weird. guess my sin was sighning up to other forums.
like i said weird. well i wuz looking for tool forums when i found them la da da an so on. later now

You should see the reply that you get from Spike if you actually criticize the very unamerican way they are conducting their forum! Welcome to the real world.

One more thing, there is no way a bunch of guys with any understanding of the chainsaw industry can get together for a few beers and NOT discuss chainsaws! (Often at some considerable risk to the building and funishings!) Huskyman must be new indeed. At the Truck Logger's convention at the grand Vancouver Hotel in the center of downtown Vancouver BC Canada, the guys actually chainsawed through a wall once because the hotel would not give them connecting rooms!

Well I usually edit postings about the Tool shed Forum, but this is too good of advertising!!! I am glad you guys are having fun. Its funny when I started there wasnt a site like this really. Bits and pieces of others and I made this. I noticed a logger one the other day, which I hadnt looked at in about a year, put a chainsaw forum on there (copycats) . Guess they "saw" what worked. I am very so-so on my knowledge of trees, but do have a passion for them. But, chainsaws have always been a bigger one. Walt, love your commentary and knowledge. I am real glad you guys are here!!!!! To bad the TSF had a head start on me. You would have never had to go to Disneyland!:alien:

Walt you have to understand I am not from Canada and not from Big Sky country so I am at a disadvantage. I guess that makes me a Yankee. I grew up in a subdivision and never cut down a thing until ten years ago. But now I live in the country and have a Hick brother in law with a swamp in his back yard and we get every four wheel drive within 20 sq miles stuck in it. Also I now have a couple of Shotguns and more saws than I will need in three lifetimes so I am catching up

You will laugh so hard you will spew your beer all over the screen!
So far, Fish, Marty, Spike, Walt, Robert and Steve have been impersonated, so get in there and see what others are saying about us behind our backs, but use another name to hide your identity, I gaurantee you will laugh so hard your guts will ache.

hell i have been born, bread and raised a hick. my first truck was a 78 ford flat bed and my nearest neighbor is 1/2 mile down the road. and i have been running chainsaws since i was 8. but when you get a bunch of hicks and beer together somethign is bound to break especially if there is a chainsaw around. hell my dad's back yard could be mistaken for a auto and tractor junk yard. i love this stuff and i some how got kicked off the tsf cause i haven't posted in a few months. but who knows.

I thought these forums were to help people solve there questions and help them find parts for varios things.I,ve been kicked off for suggesting people look here and there for parts or call this place and they can help you.All I got was "BOOTED" for trying to help people !!This is the best helpful site I've been in.And I might add just a little on the "ODD" site as well.It's nice knowin there's others out there as well.

Yep used to go the the Tool shed alot. Until they kicked alot of the guys off like Gypo then it wasnt much fun there anymore. I'm glad we all found a great site like Arboristsite that will accept us. I think you are on to something there. What Spike and a few others fail to recognize is the entertainment value of these sites. Nothing new...no entertainment. A little spice...more entertainment. Your contribution to the site just adds to the mix.
Further, if you saw "Miracle on 34th Street" you'd recognize the marketing stragety of allowing reference to other "stores" that carry merchandise that is not available at your "store".
If you look around at Spikes creation, it looks pretty pitiful these days.
But it's what he wanted.
