My dad fried his 029 Super last winter. He thinks he over worked it, I think he used straight gas. Same story at the dealer, at least 300 bucks to fix. I decided to give it a go and found a new piston and cylinder on Ebay for about 65-75 bucks. The important thing is to get the Stihl sealant to seal the jug to the crankcase. I did it over a few nights in my basement and have already cut about 4 cords of wood this year and the saw runs great! With a little effort and patience when reassembling the housings, I'm sure you can get it running again. Good luck
