I saw the bucket then the tree then I was looking for the shot of the " hop out". Glad to see it, I was thinking " I know he ain't gonna try to swing that thing down from the bucket".
But in pic 107 ? Please describe how you rigging line is set up. It looks like it goes to a choker of some sort then right through the middle of the trunk back down on your side. What did you use as a lowering point is my question. It didn't look like you took the natural crotch route but I don't see a pulley, just something that looks like an eye sling.
That wood looks like Dingo material all nice a layed out real pretty and all.

Yes, thanks for posting, it looked like a good job. Now your measurement of 42" was taken at the flare? If it was , sorry, you don't get to count that. I wish we could but they only let us measure from about chest height for mean trunk dia.
