LARGE Stihl chainsaw bar, What is this???

So I'm driving North on I-85 in NC a few days ago, and I passed this. I slowed down for the guy to catch up so I could snap a few pictures. I've got a 36" bar for my 044, but I've never seen anything like this.

Can anyone identify what kind of cutter this is?

I've see a bar that long on a Stihl 090G.
That could be a helper on the tip of the bar.
