Guys, I have a Stihl 064 that someone put on and ruined an aftermarket big bore cylinder/piston, so I’m looking to rebuild it back with OEM parts.
My question is if the current Mahle cylinders are of the same quality is the vintage Mahle or KS cylinders. On the outside, the vintage looks more smooth and they are known for good performance. The current Mahle looks rough cast.
Has anyone compared the new vs old on performance? Should I risk used vintage wear over new?
