Count the bottom drive link/tangs on the chain.
Counted 72 links. They dont line up with the sprocket or the end sprocket on the chain bar. I think someone messed up at the factory and sent me the wrong chain for the bar. The bar is stamped with the correct specs i believe. I will double check right now.

Hold both chains side by side, and see if they are the same pitch, also
Seems to be the issue. Guess i will have to use the 36" bar to do the small stuff around the house. Will i look crazy cutting 6" manitoba maples with a 36" bar?

I Picked this bar and chain up from walmarts online store for 40$ so should i return it or just go buy a oregon chain and wish i had of counted a few more pennies and went with the stihl from the dealer in the first place.

As far as the b&c you could probably sell the chain, it’s a common chain for .325. Your choice. As far as cutting 6” trees with a 36” bar, won’t look dumb at all if you cut 6 at one time, 6”x6”=36”. Utilizing the entire bar. Impress the heck out of the neighbors.

Lol will have to look into cutting it all at once. Next thing you know it ill be trimming all trees on the block.

And the wife is always right but in this case i got alot more leverage lol.
