I was disappointed with the later 088's. Instead of being a thumper like my old 066 it runs like a sewing machine, especially for something in 125cc range. Original carb crapped out inside of 20hrs probably due to some bad fuel despite always trying to use ethanol free. Replaced with a brand new carb and even more disgusted, less power yet, almost no adjustment range. These emissions regs are forcing manufactures to detune cabs to make spec. Solutions? mods or specific year/part no. carb prior to reduced output?
